Welcome to the Armor of God Project.
This project began in 2008 when Muscle Shoals (AL) Police Lieutenant Clint Reck was approached about sending used ballistic vests to the Philippine National Police Department in Manila. Lieutenant Reck teamed up with his home church, Parkview Baptist, and they sent 24 used vests to the Philippine National Police.
One day after receiving the vests, a high ranking Philippine Officer chased a stolen car to a dead end road and was shot point blank in the chest by the suspect. The vest saved the life of the officer.
Ten-Four Ministries has teamed up with Muscle Shoals Lieutenant Clint Reck, Mr. Ray Mahan and
Parkview Baptist Church in providing ballistic vests to law enforcement professionals that need them.
Thousands of law enforcement professionals in the United States and around the world are working in dangerous environments and they do not have a ballistic vest to protect them. In addition, thousands of officers are graciously provided new ballistic vests every five years. While the manufacturer warranty may be expired, often the vest will still effectively protect those that do not have one.
The Armor of God Project is dedicated to protecting those that protect us. We will recycle used ballistic vests and provide them to officers that need them.

FAQ's
Will I be liable for anything if I donate my vest?
Before you donate your vest, you will be sent an acknowledgement and release document signed by the Director of Ten-Four Ministries designed to hold you harmless in any future litigation. When the vest is donated, another release form will be signed by the recipient of the vest acknowledging that the vest is used and not guaranteed.
If the vest is used, how will I know it will work?
The Manufacture of ballistic vests will not generally warranty them past 5 years. That does not mean the vest will not work properly. Many tests have been conducted that show that long after a manufacture warranty is over, vests can still stop many bullet types. While it would be ideal to have a newer vest at all times, many officers simply have nothing. A used vest is better than nothing and we sincerely pray that you will consider helping us in this project.
If I donate my vest, what will it cost?
There is no cost for you to donate your vest. In fact, you will be provided a document to serve as a receipt for donation purposes. We will pay all costs associated with the donation of your vest, including shipping and recycling.
Where will my vest be sent?
Our main emphasis is providing vests to Officers within the United States that are in need. We are also working with the Philippine National Police and the Guatemala National Police. If you would like to designate where your vest goes, please tell us that in the comment section.
I don't have a vest and need one?
Please fill out the form on the project website. Tell us your waist and chest size in the comment section. As soon as we identify a vest for you, we will send it to you.
What agencies are participating in this Project?
For safety reasons, we do not reveal what officers or locations have received vests. We have provided entire police departments with vests and a SWAT Team. You can read testimonies here. Many agencies, from small to large, have donated vests to the Project. Click here for a list of those agencies.
